Halloween Activity For School or At Home
- Cut loosely around each ghost out. This includes the top ghost face, which is the front of the bookmark and the bottom triangle, which is for the back of the bookmark
- Hand each of your loosely cut out ghost images out to each child
- Have each child cut out the top ghost face and the back of the bookmark along the outer black lines with scissors
- Each child should now fold along the tab lines of the ghost face and glue the tabs to the back of the bookmark (the bottom triangle).
Your student or child will now have a triangle shaped bookmark that will fit at the corner of a page in the current book they are reading. All they need to do now is write their names at the back of each bookmark and place their bookmarks in their books!
Hopefully this Halloween Activity will make reading more boo-tastic too. Imagine those cute ghost bookmarks marking the pages of the amazing books kids will read throughout the year! Let me know if you did this with your little ones at home or at school!
