I’m not sure if you noticed, but I’m all about the quick and easy DIYs this summer and this Easy DIY Gold Accented Glass Vase is no exception. The kids are home with me so there’s a lot of stop and go with my schedule. When I have the (brief) time to craft something for this little happy space of mine, I grab it and try to be as efficient as possible. You also can’t go wrong with something that will take minutes to make. For this speedy project, you can upcycle a vase that you’ve had for a while or buy a new vase and then fill it with pretty flowers. I think it will also be pretty if you do a lot of vases with these gold accents on a tablescape. Lots of fun possibilities – grab your five minutes and let’s make these pretty vases!

Easy DIY Gold Accented Glass Vase – Instructions
- With a ruler and a pencil, draw lines side by side in the width you want on the white side of the gold tattoo paper
- Once your strips are cut, remove the clear adhesive paper from each strip (on the metallic side) and apply the gold tattoo strip face down to the glass vase with a wet towel
- Repeat for each strip, making a vertical or horizontal pattern
- Optional: apply a clear sealant to protect the tattooed strip (this will help make the tattoo last longer)
I love how they turned out. Simple and modern with very little effort. They will also make pretty housewarming or hostess gifts. I’d love to hear how yours turned out – tell me in the comments below!
