If you love rattan a much as I do, then we can be besties and DIY all the things with it. Today we are making this Easy DIY Rattan And Tassel Keychain. Or Keyring. Or if you choose not to add a key, it’s a perfect accessory for a clutch or tote. I recently realized that we do not have enough spare keys for guests when they visit and want to venture out on their own. Making spare keychains with keys will be perfect for them. What You Need – Easy DIY Rattan And Tassel Keychain
- Gold keyring lobsters. I got mine at Michaels but you can find a similar ones here
- 2 Gold jump rings
- Gold tassel charm
- Rattan charm – I linked the search for rattan so that you can choose to suit your style. Scroll down to find mine
- Jewelry making pliers

Instructions
- The rattan charm may have a natural hole for your jump ring. If they do not, pierce a hole near the top using something sharp (I used a hole reamer)
- Open your jump rings with pliers – I used 2 sets of pliers (one in each hand) to twist (one side toward you, the other side away from you) each jump ring so that the ends opened forward and backward
- Attach the keychain or keyring to one of the jump rings and rattan charm
- Attach the keychain or keyring to the other jump ring and the gold tassel charm
- Optional: you can leave it as is to add as an accessory to your clutch or add a key and use as a keychain
