Silhouette Back to School Bundles and Deals

It’s a time of year, and as a parent, I cycle through a range of emotions:

• excitement (Mama’s gettin’ some time to herself!)
• sadness (summer is ending and Mama will miss her babies)
• anxiety (Mama’s baby is off to KG!)

These boxes I created are made with a  really thick cardstock (chipboard is always a great option) and printable silver foil (which is also part of this awesome bundle)

The What

• Silhouette CAMEO
• Silhouette Studio
• CAMEO light hold cutting mat

• Glue
• Cardstock (or Chipboard)
• Printable Silver Foil

The How

Step 1: In Silhouette Studio, I created the shapes and dashed lines below with standard pencil measurements in mind

Step 2: By using the Weld, Replicate and Make Compound Path tools I created the box for the pencils (the dashed lines are fold lines)

Step 3: Similar to Step 2, I created the sleeve which had a window (from the Rounded Rectangle tool). Note that this shape needed to be a pinch bigger than the box, so that it can slide off easily

Step 4: To create the tab for the sleeve, I used the Point Editing tool to make a slanted edge

Step 5: I then used text for the monogram, and created a frame with the offset tool on the sleeve’s window

I folded at the dashed lines, and assembled these cute boxes – perfect for the Big and Small students who are off to school soon!
