Happy Tuesday! How are we so close to saying goodbye to 2015 already? Insane, right? It’s been a whirlwind of activity around here getting ready for Santa and such. My therapy is to calm things down with a minimal approach. Which leads me to these DIY Minimal Monogrammed Wood Tags. Sometimes simpler is better. If you like simple packaging with a personal touch, then these minimal wood tags are for you. Here’s how you can make your own…
The What
- Silhouette Studio
- Favorite Font

The How
- To create your wooden tags, cut rectangles from your balsa wood sheets
- Gently apply the hole punch to create a hole in your tag
- Open Silhouette Studio and type out your monogram letters
- Mirror your letters
- Print your letters onto tattoo paper
- Apply the clear adhesive sheet. Use your scraper to smooth the bubbles out
- Cut closely around your letters
- Remove the clear adhesive paper, and apply the tattoo to your wood tag
- Apply a clear sealant or nail varnish to the wood
- Cut angled pieces of paper and apply with glue to your tag
And that’s it! How will you design your own minimal wood tags?
