Flower Power Envelopes! I was a teeeeeensy bit inspired by take-out boxes. I freely admit to having a problem. I go into restaurants and examine take-out containers. Especially when they are cute. There. I said it. Inspiration comes in many forms – at least that’s what I’m telling myself. So, want to see how I made these?
As you may (or may not know), I was born and proudly raised in a little gem of the Caribbean – Trinidad and Tobago. My fondest memories were always impromptu treats on our way to or from the beach. It’s a bumper week when I actually have the opportunity to post back to back. So, wanna talk watercolor labels? Remember I shared some Waterlogue app love in an earlier post? Well, I wanted to share how I created these lovely labels using this fun app. I’m always looking for different ways to present little happy packages to loved ones, and thought it would be a good idea to try this little experiment out using Silhouette’s Print and Cut feature.
I love to organize – no surprise there. These label holders speak to my happy (read: slightly obsessive) need to create order whenever there’s crafting chaos. I have a million little brads, beads, baubles, you name it and they are all looking for a happy home with a cute label to match.
