So, Father’s Day is just around the corner and for all the Dads and Grandpas in your lives, you may want something small but significant on your gifts. I thought these DIY 3D Mini Heart Tags would be good to add to my ever-growing collection of tags as they can be gender-neutral depending on the colors you choose. Add a little white ink, flank the 3d heart with “I”/”We” and “You” to read as:
I (or We) heart you
and you’ve got yourselves a sweet sentiment for your loved ones.

How To Make DIY 3D Mini Heart Tags
Step 1: Create a rounded rectangle, add a circle (for the hole), then Make a Compound Path in Silhouette Studio
Step 2: Duplicate and Merge the shapes, then add 3 hearts (I used my hearts from this camera shape that was a freebie a few posts ago on Silhouette’s Online Store). To make things easier during assembly, you can create fold/score lines by using a dashed cut line (not shown) down the middle of the hearts
Step 3: Send to Silhouette using cardstock settings
Step 4: Score and fold your tag. Fold the hearts and glue them, much like we did for the 3d gems. Then glue to the middle of the tag
Add some string, and you will have the most adorable (ahem, handsome) tags for all the Papas in your lives!

These are darling! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks, Amy!
I will be making this using a slightly bigger back heart and fabric that matches the shower gift I am making. (adhered with iron on bonding) and 2 smaller turquoise hearts. Ribbon to match.
Lovely!!
Such a precious tag. Very sweet with the pastel light color 🙂
Thank you!!
